I found my freedom in you I found a joy I can't lose And thank God it's true You wrapped your arms around me And heaven broke through From the moment you found me I found my freedom in you Welcome to the For Freedom Podcast. This podcast exists to bring the freedom of the gospel for everyday Christians with everyday issues. Now here are your hosts, James Safer and Brad Martin. Welcome back to the For Freedom Podcast. We are glad to come to you this week. I know it's coming on a different day, but we felt that it would be appropriate to come on and talk today just encouraging you to pray for Nathan. Brett, Nathan's just got back from a mission trip and his body's having some type of shutdown and it's been tough on the family. And I know Nathan has been on the podcast here a couple of times and we've always enjoyed him coming. He has actually one of the top listened episodes on our podcast. And so he's a dear friend to us. How are you doing? And what are you thinking of? Let me say that we are just devastated with this news about Nathan. Nathan has been such an influence in my life, in my ministry. He's been such a friend. He's one of those guys that, you know, you can call him at any time. He'll call you back. You can text him at any time. He'll text you back. Nathan is just a good, good friend. And we hate that he's having to go through this and his family. We just feel for his family. I just, there aren't many words that you can say other than he's just a great guy. We love him to death. And we want to wish, we want to pray that the Lord would work a miracle right now. He's in the hospital fighting for his life. And we just want to send him all the prayers that we can and bring him before the sovereign God of heaven. And, you know, this is the Lord's decision. But, man, we just want to give him a fighting chance by bringing him to the throne of glory. Absolutely. I agree with you. And we're definitely praying for Kerry and his kids and his church and the church members that are there that are going through all of this. And what I want to do, Brett, is just have a prayer. If you want to give, JC set up a GoFundMe. And we're going to put that in our show notes so you can give. But we're challenging you right now during this time. Go before the throne. Pray for the intercessory prayer for Nathan and his family. And just lift that family up during this time. And pray for Nathan's body. And so, Brett, I'm going to pray for us. And we'll shut the show down. Lord, we come and thank you for this day. God, you are a holy God. You are a righteous God. And we're in those moments where I've been weeping all day. I've been just in tears, just not knowing what's going on. And I'm reminded of Mary and Martha when they came to Jesus and they said, why, Lord, did you not come sooner? Lord, why? And it was Jesus welcomed those questions. And so, God, I pray that you would answer our prayer. That we come before you today asking for a healing of Nathan's body. We ask you for peace for his family. We ask you for comfort for his family during this time. And, Lord, I pray for his church as well, Hope Church in Asheville, Lord, as they are going through this time with their pastor struggling, their pastor in the hospital. Lord, that you would just give them strength. Lord, give Nathan's body healing. And above all, Lord, we give you the glory for whatever is going to happen. We love you, Lord. In your name we pray. Amen. Dear gracious Heavenly Father, Lord, we thank you so much for today. Will we come boldly before the throne of grace today? We lift up our friend Nathan Cravat. Lord, we pray that you would bless him. Lord, we pray that you would touch him. Lord, he is in the hospital. Lord, and he's just not doing good. But this didn't surprise you, Lord. It was in your will. Lord, what we're asking you today is we're asking you that you would heal him. We're asking right now that his body would begin to accept the medication, that he would respond, Lord. Well, we beg you for this, Lord. If it be possible, Lord, let this cup pass from him, Lord. And, Lord, let him come back to his family, come back to his church, Lord. Lord, we pray for the doctors. We pray for the nurses, Lord. We pray for all the medical professionals that are with him. But, Lord, we understand that while doctors are good and nurses are good and hospitals are good, Lord, our faith isn't in any of those things. Our faith is in Jesus and Jesus alone. You sit on the sovereign throne of heaven. Lord, this is your call. And, Lord, we lay it at your feet. We're coming boldly to you. We lift this man up. We lift up this preacher, Lord. We lift up this father, this husband, Lord. And we ask you to intervene. We ask you for something supernatural. We ask you to do something that only the God of heaven can do, Lord. And if you do that, Lord, we'll give you all the glory and honor for it. Lord, at the end of the day, your will be done. But, Lord, we ask this of you. Thank you so much for Nathan. Thank you for all that he's done, for all that he means to each and every one of us. And, Lord, we just pray that you would just be with him, be with his family, supernaturally heal him in a special way. In Jesus Christ's precious name I pray. Amen. Amen. If you can pray with us, family, if you will, pray for this family. And if you will, if you can give. I know that's a way we can help as well. And so we pray that you would do that and lift this family up in the coming days. Until next time, to God be the glory. Amen. I found my new name. I found that good grace. I found that healing. And the tears fell down my face. When I found my beginning. That has no ending. I found that second chance. I found my best friend. I found my forgiveness. I found my happiness. I've been singing ever since. I found my freedom in you. Thanks for listening to the For Freedom Podcast.
